The activities of the Auckland Medical Aid Centre are governed by legislation. The main Act of Parliament that affects AMAC is the Contraception, Sterlisation, and Abortion Act 1977 (and its subsequent amendments in 1978 and 1990).
A reference copy of the Act (including amendments) is available via an alphabetic search within the "Public Access to Legislation Project" on the website set up by the Parliamentary Counsel Office.
