D&C

Dilatation and curettage is a method used to remove products of conception after a failed early pregnancy. Many pregnancies fail in the first trimester (first third) and often there is no reason found. Some women pass the products of conception spontaneously without needing medical intervention but other women require removal of those products. 

At AMAC we can provide a safe D&C under local anaesthetic and mild conscious sedation for failed early pregnancies. This is a very simple process and women will not be in the clinic for more than 2-3 hours. Please discuss with your doctor or phone AMAC to discuss with one of our experienced doctors.
